After replacing the gas valve the water heater is still not lighting due to the combustion air openings being clogged with soot. Client is aware that replacement of the water heater is needed at this time. I provided an option to the client and their son with a credit from the first charge and they have declined the install at this time.
Arrived to the home, for no hot water, existing water heater is not even 1 year old. I first attempted to light the water heater and I was able to do so, but I discovered that the burner assembly was not engaged properly on the anchor, resulting in a huge flame in the chamber. Also the flame was not heating the tank properly resulting in the water heater not being efficient. I provided options to replace the door and pilot assembly. With the new parts in, I was able to get the water heater to light but then it slowly goes out. I next discovered that the gas valve stops producing gas when it is on. I also need to replace the gas valve at this time. Due to the holiday, no supply house is open at this time. We have squeezed our client on the schedule for this Friday morning first to replace the gas valve.
New 50 gal water heater, pan and drain, taco leak breaker, customer supplied kitchen faucet with membership Arrived back to home to complete work. New water heater install with leak breaker and pan. Water heater is up to code and all connections have been made. Tested for leaks and there are none at this time.
Arrived on site client stated his shower was only getting hot and not cold. Cartridge will need to be replaced. We will return at a later date to perform work.
Arrived to home for water heater. Upon inspection found 10 year 50 gallon water heater in good shape. Customer wants to be proactive and replace due to age. We will be coming back on Monday to replace water heater, add pan and drain outside, taco leak breaker and install customer supplied kitchen faucet. Collected 500$ deposit
Arrived on site to give estimate to connect clients ice maker line. Upon inspection I noticed client did not have a separate valve for fridge so another valve needed to be added. Client also has a sharkbite valve that I recommend get replaced. Left estimates to connect ice maker line and add 2 new valves. Client does not want to move forward at this time.

Arrived on site to replace leaking pipe up assembly. Replaced pop up assembly with a chrome Wolverine brass pop up assembly. When done I tested for leaks with hot water. There are no leaks at this time.
Arrived to the home, customer has stated an active leak coming from somewhere in the basement from the hose Bibb, client has a motorized whole home water shut off valve and the home is currently off at this time. After a through evaluation I discovered that the sharkbite fitting the attached to the existing hose bib that has a cracked on it and has failed. I provided options for repairing and removing the damaged sharkbite fitting, or replacing the hose Bibb. The shut off valve was also attached to a sharkbite fitting too. Client would like to get rid of all the sharkbite fittings near and around the hose Bibb. Turned water off to the home. Drain the system of water. Cut out and removed the broken sharkbite fitting and existing ball valve. Supplied and installed new ball valve and hose Bibb. Secured my connections and turned the home back on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Purged the system of air as well. *Client understands that the warranty is voided if they
Arrived on site client stated their lav sink drain was leaking and the toilet was running. Upon inspection the lav sink pop up assembly was leaking and became loose. Left options for minor rebuild and to replace pop up assembly. Client does not want to move forward today.

Upon arrival customer explained that the hose bib coming out of the front of the house was leaking and they didn’t know where the shutoff was. They also explained that the handle for the shut on the hot side had broken off. Customer is in the process of moving in and due to multiple issues we recommended a full home plumbing inspection. During inspection we came across two toilets that were loose at the base and having fill valve, flapper, and shut off issues. We also noticed that the water heater was manufactured in 2012 and had corrosion build up on the hot side connection. Due to the age of the water heater we recommended considering replacement. Provided estimates to replace toilets ,water heater, and hose bib.
